First and foremost welcome to my blog. I have to admit, this is my first time building a blog. I'm looking forward to having a new venue to communicate with my fellow peers. This would obviously be a perfect place to share educational references and constructive criticism.

As per our endeavours of learning about action research I have to admit that the word research made my face crinkle. The idea of beginning one and the last time I completed one, always the question, where do I begin? Surprisingly I felt comfortable learning that an action research is from a insider's point of view. Instead of others collecting qualitative or imperative data and explaining the process like a traditional research. The perspectives of the principal of course if were talking about the change in an educational setting are more directed to providing valuable information he/she can use. Action research is beneficial to the practitioner and constituencies. Also, reflection plays a big part in the research it provides insight in an administrator's own practice, a road map of thoughts setting forth an action plan for change, hopefully in a productive manner to improve their school and give the principal a sense of where he/she is at in becoming a great leader.
